Mandatory Work Meeting, Fashion Show, Thrifting, Wedding, and Baby

I know you are wondering...What's up with this title? Well all of this happened in one day.  I took the day off so I can attend a co-workers/friends wedding. But the meeting for work was mandatory (no problem). I decided to attend a fashion show that was held by our local Goodwill. Me and Inez (Style Chic 360) and Fash-Det co founder wanted to support a local blogger Suze (Miss Vinyl Ahoy). I was excited because I am just getting into thrifting so I knew I was going to shop.

The fashion show was great and Suze was a sweetie, we also met her husband who was in the show too.

Then off to the wedding which I had the times mixed up throughout the day. I made it in time cold legs and heels stuck in grass. But it was beautiful none the less. I went with my work-bff from my substitute teaching days Tiara. She was the perfect date. We both no longer work at the school so it was good to catch up with our former co-workers/friends.

In the middle of dinner I received a text from my mother..."We are on our way to the hospital...Don't call her" Weird right? Well my sister Elissa is 9 months pregnant with my very first nephew. I called my mom and she said my sister was having contractions (bad contractions) and they were going to the hospital. The next call was to inform me that they were keeping her. Then she called and said she was dilated from 3 to 6 in 15 minutes..(Those of you with children know what that means) for the rest of us...HE'S COMING!!!!!

Before I could find the bride my mom called and said...They were going to have a emergency c-section. I was confused but I was also drinking the whole evening. Don't judge! I WAS at a wedding.

I was sitting at the table with my former co-workers this table included 3 women who JUST had babies this year. They told me if my sister was having a c-section..I would not be able to see her or the baby for a while. So I decided to finish eating and enjoy the rest of the wedding. Which was beautiful.

When I arrived to the hospital my sister was getting settled in her room and the baby was getting his vitals checked. It was such a great feeling to hold my nephew on this side. I say this side because I kept my hands on my sisters stomach during her entire pregnancy.

His name is Caiden Trace Napier 8:48 p.m. 7lbs 13 oz and 20.5 inches
